Soul Retrieval - 2 hours
$325
When traumatic or stressful events happen in life, parts of a person’s soul can vacate the body in an effort to protect them from experiencing pain. In western psychology, this process of soul loss is known as dissociation. While soul loss is often considered an adaptive response to stress and trauma, it also results in a loss of one’s vital life force, which can manifest as a deep sense of emptiness, confusion, or fragmentation. People who have experienced significant soul loss often report major gaps in memory, emotional detachment with others, difficulty feeling like they are active participants in their own lives, and an enduring sense that something is missing or that they are lost.
The Process
A soul retrieval is an ancient shamanic practice that restore’s a person’s vital life force by reconnecting them to their missing soul fragments. Shamanic healers believe that a person’s soul parts can be found sheltering in the three Spirit Worlds: the Lower, Middle, and Upper Worlds. With the help of power animals, spirit guides, and drumming or rattling, the shamanic practitioner enters a meditative state to locate the missing soul fragments. Once found, the soul fragments are asked to return and are then blown back into the person’s body.
Post-Session Integration
The integration process that unfolds after a soul retrieval can be complex and lengthy, often lasting 6 months or more. For this reason, it is required that a person wait at least 6 months between soul retrieval sessions in order to allow their retrieved and reconnected soul parts to fully land in the body. Ongoing integration sessions at Salka Sanctuary or collaborative work with a traditional psychotherapist or counselor is also recommended after a soul retrieval session.
